New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program

New Brunswick is one of Canada's three Maritime provinces and is the only constitutionally bilingual (English–French) province.Located on Canada’s east coast along the Atlantic Ocean, New Brunswick offers a distinct way of life and exciting career opportunities for newcomers. 

There are three main immigration streams: Skilled Worker , Business applicant, The Express Entry New Brunswick Labour Market Stream

SKILLED WORKER is divided into two categories:

Skilled Worker with employer support category - this category is for holders a valid job offer under all NOC level

Requirements:

  • Age 22-55 years old
  • Education: minimum High-School Diploma
  • Work Experience :minimum 1/5 years prior application
  • 50 points pass mark
  • For categories NOC C, D - 1 year work experience with same NB employer prior application and skill type1,3,7,8,9

Skilled Worker with Family support - this category is for skilled workers under all NOC categories who have a close relative in NB as family supporter (citizen or PR).

Requirements:

  • Age 22-50 years old
  • Education: 2 year college diploma minimum
  • Work Experience: 2/5 years prior to application
  • All NOC levels (NOC C,D skill type 1,3,7,8,9)
  • A close relative in NB should: operate a business or work in NOC 0,A,B, C skill 1,3,7,8,9 for 12 months prior application and not to be on government assistance within last 12 months prior application

BUSINESS APPLICANT - this category is for applicants who are able to operate a business, to invest in a business in NB.

Requirements:

  • Age 22-55 years old
  • Education: minimum High-School Diploma
  • Work Experience: 2/5 years of management experience prior application
  • Business plan
  • 50 points pass mark
  • Net worth $300,000CAD
  • Investment $125,000 CAD
  • Deposit Agreement for $75,000 CAD. This deposit is to be refunded once the businesses established within 3 years of obtaining PR status and has been operating for 1 year.
  • Exploratory visit and interview are required

The Express Entry New Brunswick Labour Market Stream - This stream allows the NBPNP to use IRCC’s Express Entry system to meet New Brunswick’s specific labour market and demographic needs.

Requirements:

  • Meet the selection factors (earn minimum 67 points out of 100)
  • Submit the Expression of Interest (EOI)
  • Get an email  Invitation to submit an application to the NBPNP (within 45 days)
