Reception of documents on the program The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) for 2018 is completed. 6,600 invitations to apply for provincial nomination were issued for various streams.
The province will continue to accept and consider new applications, as well as those that have already been received, in accordance with the plan for receiving new immigrants in 2019, except for the temporarily suspended Master’s Graduate Stream.
Although the OINP has not yet announced its distribution for 2019, it is possible that the total number may increase.
The distribution this year was 600 places more than in 2017.
