On November 17, 2016 province of British Columbia invited 310 candidates to receive the Invitation to Apply in the categories "SKilled Workers and "Express Entry stream - BCPNP". This represents an increase of 43 percent in the number of Invitations to Apply issued over the last draw, which took place on November 10, 2016.

Candidates who received invitations to the ITA may submit an application to receive nomination from the province of British Columbia with subsequent submission of documents for obtaining permanent resident status.
Persons interested in obtaining permanent resident status in Canada under the BC-PNP, including the above-mentioned categories, can assess your chances for Immigration through the system called Skills Registration System (SIRS). This system will evaluate their education, experience and other factors, and they will be awarded points on the basis of which, the province will determine how useful they can be as qualified specialists. Candidates with the highest score will be selected for submission of applications to receive nomination from the province,as a result of ongoing rounds.
