EXPRESS ENTRY, JANUARY 22, 2020

On January 22, 2020, the next qualifying round for the Express-Entry  system took place. The Department of Refugees, Immigration, and Citizenship has issued 3,400 invitations to apply for permanent residency status with a passing score of 471.

The Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued a total of 6,800 application invitations (ITAs) in 2020 via Express-Entry.

Canada has higher admission rates for 2020 and 2021 for various programs managed by Express Entry.

It is assumed that the goal of admitting new permanent residents under the three federal programs for highly qualified specialists will increase to 85,800 this year and to 88,800 in 2021.
