Manitoba invited 400 qualified specialists to apply for a provincial nomination in her round on April 14, 2018. The Manitoba Provincial Program (MPNP) offered 316 candidates passing through the Qualified Personnel category in Manitoba, the Application Area, with the candidate with the lowest rating earning 534 points.
Another 84 qualified specialists were invited to the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream. The candidate with the lowest score received 703 points.
Both qualified specialists in Manitoba and qualified specialists from abroad received LAA, and whose application for a provincial nomination is approved, can then apply to the federal government for permanent resident status.
Candidates from the Express Entry Entry category received a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points on the CRS scale.
